Growing up and being teenagers is often all that matters at this age. This work is based on my sister and her friends. Although they do everything together as a group they are all individuals and contribute in their own special ways. I have represented this by using different bright colours in my sculpture.
I depicted them like a bunch of flowers because although they are similar and do everything together, they can stand alone and contribute in their own unique way. I chose photographic silk screening and soft sculpture techniques to reflect how colourful they are.
